Growing up I have always had an interest in the body and health and I danced from a young age of 3. I studied Acting in New York City which is where my I took one of my first yoga classes with my an amazing yoga  teacher Suzanne White Breheny, who is now a very close friend and yogi mentor when I was training. I still remember the time I left her class dripping with sweat but feeling so calm and total bliss as I literally floated out of the studio.  I attended class twice a week and took extra classes in the city. I found Yoga helped me tone my body, and increase flexibility I felt a lot healthier and more confidant on and off the mat. Yoga helped me to stay focused and motivated in the competitive especially in the crazy  world of acting.

It started as a hobby but soon became a daily routine as I found it set me up for the day or calmed me and released any stresses at the end of the day. I took many yoga classes in NYC with so many amazing teachers, different styles but my heart has always been with the creative flow of vinyasa.  I think its the fast paced creative flow mixed with the breath kept me on my toes and excited. I was told by many different teachers to train as a yoga teacher it wasn't until 2017 did I take the leap...

At the OM yoga show London I met many yoga training centres and having spoke to many of them it wasn't until I met Carol Murphy who was running 3 YTT courses in India, Costa Rica and Spain. I knew I wanted to travel and train at the same time. So I decided to book the course in India I was excited but terrified to GOA -lone

I Trained in India, Goa with Carol Murphy - Green Lotus Yoga...  It really was the most life changing experience. I was up at 5am every morning for pranayama breathing followed by a 2hour intense vinyasa flow. (this was before breakfast!) Anyone that knows me knows I am grumpy until I have eaten! Our days were packed with studying and classes. It was physically demanding but I wouldn't change my experience, teachers or the other yoga trainees on the course. Feb 2017 I qualified and I am now A 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher who teaches regular Vinyasa flow, power and Hatha yoga classes, 1-2-1 or groups.

Recently in 2018 October I completed my 30 hour mandala and mentoring with Julia Montague. I now offer private mandala sessions as well as new mandala classes! Check out my schedule for updates.
